Hello friends and family! Thanks for all your emails and letters and support it means more than I can express. Today we went to a park for our p-day activity and played soccer for a long time. Not my best sport, far from it actually, but it was fun, I got a goal and a couple saves and a great workout so I'm happy :) I threw the football a little and this morning the Elders in our zone played basketball. My companion and I have played basketball every morning this transfer, so since the first of March and it really helps with having energy for the day. I bought some life and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereals this morning, I haven't had cereal on my mission yet, and I was hungry when I went shopping which was a mistake because I made a bunch of impulse buys. This week we started teaching a lady with her four year old daughter. She is divorced and originally from Peru. She has lived in the States for ten years. She came to church and she says that she believes that Joseph Smith was a prophet which is awesome! We hope we can help her become happy through our invitations to her to come unto Christ by helping her receive the restored Gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. She rarely has a smile or happy expression on her face and it is really sad, she has the funniest little girl in the world and is close with her mother and has so much to be happy about. She has a Heavenly Father who loves her. So do we all, God is our Father and He loves us on a personal level. Everything comes back to that, we are here because God loves us and wants us to be as happy as he is. Because He wants us to have that joy, He presented a plan for us to come to earth, receive a body and gain experience. All of us accepted that plan and chose to come here to earth. God knew that as part of gaining experience, that we would sin and because of that He provided a Savior. That Savior is Jesus Christ. I love my Savior and I love my Father in Heaven. One last thought. We said family prayers with an awesome family in the Stake that we have been serving in since the first of March. When they have family prayer, all the kids say a prayer and then one of the parents say the last one. Well they have a two year old who said the first prayer. He said "Heavenly Father, you da best, amen" it was the cutest thing ever. Recently I've tried to be more thankful for things that God gives me, specifically answers to prayers. Today we were outside for p-day like I mentioned earlier. It started to drizzle while we were praying. So I said a silent prayer that it would stop and it did. A couple minutes later it came back and I said another silent prayer that it would stop and it did. A couple minutes later the rain came back again. I said one more silent prayer and as I closed it stopped again. I then said one more prayer, thanking Heavenly Father for stopping the rain. The sun came out a few minutes later and stayed sunny the rest of the activity. Some may say that that's just coincidence or write it off as "Utah Weather" but I know that God answered my prayers. And I know he answers everyone prayers. I love you all so much!
